Bob was also a substitute teacher in Sanilac County. He was instrumental in building, developing, and teaching the Mechatronics Program at St. Clair TEC for eight years before coming to LCISD as  the CTE Instructor for Mechatronics.

Mr. Timmerman enjoys teaching skilled trades because it is an opportunity to give back to the community by helping students prepare for the work place. Bob believes that the greatest reward is to see the students grow, make good choices, and to be career and/or college ready when they leave LCISD. Outside of work Bob enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is a big Red Wings fan and enjoys watching and playing hockey.
